President’s Message

It is my great honor to be President of the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club in 2020 and work with such talented, driven, and intelligent women. Despite already having busy schedules and extensive responsibilities, members of the Club work tirelessly to better their community and find solutions to problems that come to their attention.

Our History

The General Federation of Women's Clubs is one of the world's oldest and largest women's volunteer service organizations, dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. With more than 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. Philanthropy and Volunteerism

SCJWC contributes to the community in a variety of ways. We have weekly and monthly volunteer projects, as well as, annual service projects. We are always looking for new opportunities to serve our community. In 2018, we volunteered 3,000 hours and raised $51,000 for projects that benefit our community.

This year’s San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club tagline is “empowering each other, empowering our community.”  By working together, sharing our talents, and supporting each other through challenges, we, as a relatively small group of women, will achieve great things and make a positive impact, helping those around us achieve their goals or weather difficult times. I am so excited to be a part of the amazing things this group of women will accomplish and the lives that they will change this year!
