Our volunteer hours are only part of the story.  The SCJWC spearheads projects to help our community, such as Project Angel Tree, student scholarships, and local drives to help military as well as children, families and seniors in need.  We also look for under funded projects and programs in the community and offer them a boost in their funding so they can continue to make a difference.

We raise funds through several different means.  The SCJWC always tries to find fun ways to raise money throughout the year.  And each year we select different types of fundraisers. In the past we've held shopping fundraisers, dine out nights, and craft projects to name a few.  These events are open to the public, so please check out our calendar for upcoming events. 

Our annual "Big Event" fundraising gala is where we raise most of our funding.  We were able to raise over $50,000 in 2018 and over $100,000 in 2019. Due to the pandemic, we have had to put our Galas on hold for new and exciting events including an Online Fundraiser in 2020 that raised over $20,000 and in 2022 a Community Family Day Fundraiser.

We continue to look for to new ways of raising money for our community. And look forward to working with businesses who want to partner to fundraise for a mutual cause!
