SAN CLEMENTE JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB
The Schlipp Family
The San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club would like to announce it’s 2023 Fund-In-Need recipient, The Schlipp Family.
The Schlipps have been part of the San Clemente Community for many years through Maelynn Schlipp’s work at Tyke Time, a unique cooperative play place for young children she started at St. Andrew’s by the Sea. The Schlipp family now needs your support.
As many of you know, their 6-year old daughter Esme was finally given the diagnosis with Type A Sanfilippo Syndrome a year ago. Sanfilippo Syndrome is a rare neurodegenerative rare disease, for which there is no cure.
The doctors and her family believed that they had many more years with Esme left on this earth. But on Saturday April 22nd at 8:24pm she unexpectedly passed away peacefully at home in her family’s arms.
Since before the diagnosis, Maelynn and her family have done their best to handle all of Esme's care themselves, and even after applying for assistance from the state, they are not able to cover everything on their own anymore. The Schlipp family and Esme’s brother Sam, will need our help and any amount will make a difference. The stress of medical bills, and funeral costs, should be the last thing on their minds.
Please help us support this family and allow them to focus on their family at this time.
You can make donations through Venmo @SCJWC, by paypal, or by sending a check (PO BOX 4274, SC, 92674). Please put “Esme” in the memo line of all transactions so your donation can be directed towards the Schlipp Family.
Thank you in advance for your help, it means a lot and we cannot express our gratitude enough.
