Our volunteer hours are only part of the story.  The SCJWC spearheads projects to help our community, such as Project Angel Tree, student scholarships, and local drives to help military as well as children, families and seniors in need.  We also look for under funded projects and programs in the community and offer them a boost in their funding so they can continue to make a difference.

We raise funds through several different means.  Our annual "Big Event" fundraising gala is where we raise most of our funding.  We were able to raise over $50,000 in 2018 and surpassed our 2019 goal of $60,000 with over $100,000 raised!

Due to the pandemic, we have put our Galas on hold for new and exciting events including an Online Fundraiser in 2020 that raised over $20,000 and in 2022 a Community Family Day Fundraiser. We are looking forward to new ways of raising money for our community!

Springing into Summer Family Day 2022

To celebrate the SCJWC turning 74 years old, the Juniors held an event to bring the community together for a day of family fun at Forster Ranch Community Park "Pirate Park". We expected that 200 guests would join us for a wonderful afternoon with an online silent auction and kids raffle as well as a treasure hunt, bounce house, booths from our community partners and more. Our goal was to raise $10,000 to benefit the philanthropic needs of our beautiful San Clemente community. And we did it!

We would like to thank our generous 2022 sponsors and donors who have helped make this event possible.  To support Springing into Summer Family Day, email

Other Fundraising

The SCJWC finds other fun ways to raise money for our community throughout the year.  In 2022 we held shopping fundraisers, dine out nights at BallPark Pizza, and a Kendra Scott Jewelry giveback event. These events are open to the public, so please check out calendar and our social media for upcoming events.
