SAN CLEMENTE JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Anna Frazer
President
Anna was introduced to the SCJWC in early 2016, through a few good friends and members of the club. By December that year, she had become a full member. She has greatly enjoyed participating in many of the club’s philanthropic events in San Clemente, and volunteering around the community. Anna has previously served as Public Issues Chair, Federation Chair, and Vice President. She is looking forward to her position as President this year. Her favorite part of the Junior’s pledge – “by living each day trying to accomplish something, not merely to exist” because it encourages members to step up to do more, and step out of our usual routines, even when it can be tough. In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time at the beach, camping, and loves doing crafts. She lives in Oceanside with her fiancé and two small dogs.
Denise Jusko
1st Vice President, Dean of Chairs
Denise was introduced to the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club in late 2014 by a friend who was a
member of the club. She joined the club looking for a way to give back to the community and make new
friends after living and working in Los Angeles for many years. Over the years she has loved giving back
to the community through projects such as meals on wheels & Angel Tree as well as other volunteer
opportunities within San Clemente and throughout Orange County. With the San Clemente Junior
Woman’s Club, Denise found a wonderful group of women with a variety of strengths and backgrounds
who are passionate about making a difference in our community. Denise is a New Jersey native who met her husband while attending school in California. During her free time she loves to travel across the country, help with animal rescue groups and enjoys yoga by the beach.
Elizabeth Beas
2nd Vice President, Membership
Elizabeth has been with the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club since 2019. Elizabeth loves giving back to her community through various projects and fundraising for many philanthropies. She works at the Boys & Girls Club and enjoys helping others any where she can. Elizabeth is looking forward to her position this year.
Jenny Hostert
2nd Vice President, Membership
Director at Large
Jenny joined the club in 2015 and is looking forward to her position this year. Having grown up in San Clemente and now settled down with a family of her own, Jenny was on the search for local volunteer opportunities and a way to meet new people. As a previous member of another woman’s club, she was excited to learn of SCJWC and the opportunity to give back right here in her community. Jenny has a heart for non-profits and is passionate about the ins and outs of making them successful. Having worked in the nonprofit world for over 10 years, Jenny is excited to bring her non-profit experience to the club and her position on the board. In her free time Jenny loves to travel the world with her forever travel buddies Kevin and Isabel.
Katie Stewart
Treasurer
Katie joined the club in 2014 when she moved to San Clemente from Northern California. She was looking for a way to give back to the community and make some great friends along the way. This will be her fourth year on the board, she has served as Treasurer, website chair, membership chair and 2018 President in the past and is excited to take on homelife this year. She brings positivity and enthusiasm for any project she gets behind. Her favorite thing about Juniors is seeing what a difference this diverse group of women can make when they work together and deliver results for those in need! Katie is an Controller in the Software industry and she loves all things business and numbers. For fun, you'll find her shopping on Del mar or relaxing at the beach with friends.
Emily Bredthauer
Secretary
Emily was introduced to the San Clemente Junior Woman's Club in November 2012 by several members. She joined the club because she appreciates the philanthropic work, focus on the local and extended community, as well as friendship that SCJWC incorporates. She is a Southern California native, is married and has four children who keep her pretty busy. Emily values being a part of an organization that is committed to making a positive difference in the greater San Clemente community. "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
