 SAN CLEMENTE JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Our volunteer hours are only part of the story.  The SCJWC spearheads projects to help our community, such as Project Angel Tree, student scholarships, and local drives to help military as well as children, families and seniors in need.  We also look for under funded projects and programs in the community and offer them a boost in their funding so they can continue to make a difference.

We raise funds through several different means.  Our annual "Big Event" fundraising gala is where we raise most of our funding.  We were able to raise over $35,000 in 2017 and have a goal of $50,000 for 2018!

“HAVANA NIGHTS” 70TH BIRTHDAY CHARITY GALA

The event is SOLD OUT!  However, you can still get in on the fun and bid on some of our wonderful silent auction items.  Click the button above to check it out.

Since 1948, the San Clemente Junior Woman's Club has been giving back through volunteerism and financial support to it's community.  The SCJWC is turning 70 years old in 2018!  To celebrate this milestone, let's put on our salsa dancing shoes and get ready to dance the night away while sipping mojitos at our 2018 Havana Nights Birthday Charity Gala on April 28, 2018 at the lovely Bella Collina Towne & Club.  Join us at 5:30pm for a wonderful evening with an on-line silent auction and raffle as well as a LIVE auction, entertainment and 3 course meal.  All funds which we raise will benefit the philanthropic needs of our beautiful San Clemente community.

In addition to raising funds for SCJWC programs that help the community, we choose a local organization to fund during our live auction.  The SCJWC has selected COA (Community Outreach Alliance), a local non-profit organization in San Clemente, as their fund-a-need beneficiary.  COA’s goal is to offer fun and healthy activities to our community that has been deeply affected by the drug and addiction epidemic.  They seek to partner with sponsors, local businesses, and individuals to come alongside them and help create opportunities for youth seeking healthy alternatives to drugs.  Our charity gala will help COA fund their new program ‘Thrive Alive’: a seven week education, prevention, rescue course for teens which will support the middle school and high school students in our community.  The program will educate students on the current culture that can draw them into making unhealthy choices.  The goal is that all students feel respected, appreciated and valued.

We would like to thank our generous sponsors and donors who have made this event possible.

Other Fundraising

The SCJWC finds other fun ways to raise money for our community throughout the year.  In 2017 we held a trivia night at Left Coast Brewery, dine out nights at BallPark Pizza, and a Kendra Scott Jewelry event to name a few.  These events are open to the public, so please check out calendar for upcoming events.
